Connor Usher

Connor Usher has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and technology risk. Connor started their career as a Pension Administrator at MyCSP Ltd in 2015, where they focused on the crystallization of benefits. In 2017, they joined TalkTalk Business as a Technical Service Analyst, and gradually progressed to become a Technical Service Manager and later a Technical Service Security Manager. At TalkTalk Business, Connor managed external projects, provided extensive care to enterprise-grade customers, and contributed to the development of a configuration management database and automated reporting systems. In 2021, they joined Avaloq as an Information Security Manager, and later took on the role of UK Security Officer. Currently, Connor works at ENSEK as the Head of Cyber Security and Technology Risk, where they lead the team and ensures the security of technology systems.

Connor Usher's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from Liverpool Hope University, which they obtained between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed A Levels in German Studies at Roby Community College and Weatherhead Sixth Form College. Connor also has GCSEs in German Studies from St Marys Catholic College, Wallasey. Connor holds a CHE (Certificate of Higher Education) in German Language and Literature from the University of Leeds. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications related to cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and software skills from institutions such as LinkedIn, HackerRank, and Atlassian.
