Raj Nagaraja

Raj Nagaraja has over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In 1993, they began their career as a Research Fellow at Central Drug Research Institute in Lucknow. Raj then worked as a Research Scientist at DuPont Pharmaceuticals from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, they joined Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Research Investigator, where they worked in Pre-clinical Development DMPK at DuPont Pharmaceuticals and later in Clinical Discovery (Modeling and Simulations) at BMS. Raj conducted in vitro and in vivo DMPK studies and wrote reports for DMPK and TK studies to support IND (DuPont). Raj then moved to Millennium Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist I in 2002. In 2006, they joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Senior Research Fellow, Biotherapeutics PK and later as a Senior Associate Director, Drug Discovery Support (DMPK). In 2014, they began working at Agios Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Director and Director, Discovery DMPK. In 2021, they joined Servier Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Director and Head of DMPK (US). Raj also currently works at Ensem Therapeutics as VP and Head of DMPK and Program Management.

Raj Nagaraja's education history includes a PhD from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell in Pharmacy from 1993 to 1998, an M. Pharm from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell in Pharmaceutics from 1991 to 1993, and a B.Pharm from Bangalore University in Pharmacy from 1987 to 1991. Raj also has experience with Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, and University of Florida.
