Robbie Chen

Robbie Chen has been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 1999. Robbie began their career at Merck as a Research Chemist, then joined Takeda Oncology as a Sr. Research Associate in 2002. In 2004, they moved to Biogen as a Scientist. In 2016, they joined Agios Pharmaceuticals as a Sr. Scientist, CMC. In 2018, they began working at STA Pharmaceutical, a WuXi AppTec Company (WuXi STA), as a Director, Project Management and Associate Director, Project Management. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Director of Process Chemistry at Ensem Therapeutics.

Robbie Chen received their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Peking University in 1997. Prior to that, they attended the Chinese People's Liberation Army Information Engineering University (now known as the National University of Defense Technology) from 1992 to 1993. Robbie then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry from Brown University in 1999.
