Melissa Johnson

Melissa Johnson, RHIA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Health Information Management at Ensemble Health Partners since June 2020. Prior experiences include serving as the Corporate Director of HIM and Coding at Ballad Health, Regional Director of HIM at Mountain States Health Alliance, and Director of Health Information Services at Norton Community Hospital Inc. Notable early roles involved serving as the Director of Health Information Management at St. Mary’s Hospital Norton, where responsibilities included risk management and performance improvement. Melissa Johnson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management from Virginia Intermont College and has obtained the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credentials through AHIMA.
