Eduard Valera i Zorita

Eduard Valera i Zorita has been working in the field of data science and software engineering since 2006. Eduard began their career as a Software Engineer and IT Technician at Súnion ICC. In 2011, they became a Research Scholar at Northeastern University. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Research Engineer at the Autonomous Underwater Vehicles laboratory at MIT. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Communications & Software Engineer at Applied Ocean Systems. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Bioinformatician at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG). In 2019, they became a DevOps Optimization and Data Science Instructor at EMERITUS. Currently, they are a Chief Data Scientist at Ensemble IP LLC.

Eduard Valera i Zorita began their educational journey in 2006 when they obtained a BSc + MSc in Electrical Engineering from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN. In 2008, they received a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universitat de Barcelona. From 2011 to 2012, they attended Northeastern University and received an MSc Thesis in Telecommunications Engineering. Eduard then furthered their studies at UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Electronics Engineering in 2013. Lastly, they attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2013, studying Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
