Sara Battaglia

Sara Battaglia is an experienced Intermediate Hydrogeologist at Ensero Solutions, specializing in permafrost field investigations and hydrogeological assessments in mine remediation projects. Prior roles include Hydrogeologist at Ensero Solutions, where design and implementation of groundwater monitoring programs were key responsibilities, and Teaching Assistant in Hydrogeology at the University of British Columbia. With a background as an Environmental Engineer and Junior Environmental Engineer, Sara has developed groundwater mapping techniques and led monitoring programs. Additionally, experience as a Research Assistant focusing on climate impacts on mines, and a Biodiversity Ranger in New Zealand highlights a strong foundation in field research and data management. Sara holds a Master's degree in Geological Engineering with a concentration in Hydrogeology from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph.
