Mwaka Ambrose

Mwaka Ambrose has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Mwaka started their career as a Data Enumerator at the Uganda Bureau of Statistics in 2014, where they worked on the Uganda Census of 2014. In 2016, they worked as a Systems Analyst at WINGERsoft Technologies Limited, where they built and maintained a hospital record system and maintained a point of sale app.

In 2017, Mwaka joined Ensibuuko as a Full Stack Software Developer, where they were responsible for writing clean and highly testable code for their core Microfinance flagship product. Mwaka also contributed to other core products within the organization. Mwaka later became the Technical Lead in 2021, leading a team of developers to build a Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA)/Investment clubs app, digitizing their operations for financial inclusion.
