Opio Obwangamoi David has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. In 2009, they worked as a Volunteer Youth Mentor at Educate!, where they mentored students in entrepreneurship and leadership and supported them in creating and managing community programs and enterprises. In 2012, they founded Ensibuuko and served as both the founder and lead, contributing to the development and growth of the organization. In 2019, David became a Fellow at the Westerwelle Foundation and a Young Convergence Pioneer at World Frontiers Forum & MIT. Additionally, in 2019, they founded and became the CEO of gnuGrid CRB, a fintech company that focuses on financial inclusion and de-risking investments through shared credit information.

Opio Obwangamoi David completed a Master Class in Ashoka System Change at the America Express Leadership Academy from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Economics with a focus on Economic Policy Modeling at Makerere University from 2007 to 2010.
