Roger Nyakahuma

Roger Nyakahuma has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Roger currently serves as the General Manager at Ensibuuko Tech Ltd, a leading FinTech company in Uganda. In this role, they are responsible for the growth and success of the company's digital products and services, ensuring that customers receive the best value and experience.

Prior to their current position, Roger worked as a Regional Project Manager at VisionFund International from 2018 to 2021. Roger focused on promoting financial inclusion among refugees and the host community. Roger had a proven track record of winning new business and excelled in relationship management and negotiation.

Before that, Roger was a Business Development Consultant at Laboremus Uganda Ltd from 2017 to 2018. The company specializes in customized software development and is a Microsoft Gold Application Development partner.

In 2015, Roger served as the Head of Business Development at MobiCash Ltd, a payment service provider licensed by the Central Bank. Roger played a key role in promoting financial inclusion and bridging the gap between the banked and the unbanked population.

Earlier in their career, Roger worked as a Retail Sales Specialist at Macy's and in Credit Risk Management and Relationship Management at Stanbic Bank Uganda from 2007 to 2012.

Overall, Roger Nyakahuma has demonstrated expertise in business development, relationship management, and promoting financial inclusion throughout their career.

Roger Nyakahuma is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, starting in 2021. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Quantitative Economics at Makerere University. Before attending university, Roger Nyakahuma also completed their Ordinary and Advanced Level education at St. Mary's College, Kisubi (SMACK).
