Derby R. has six years of work experience. In 2016, Derby R. was the Co-Founder of Wasatch Fresh and the Event & Communication Coordinator at Westminster College. As the Event & Communication Coordinator at Westminster College, Derby R. generated copy for all event-related marketing and CRM content, scheduled event communications for prospective students, and acted as the liaison for on-campus and off-campus recruitment activities.

Derby R. holds a Master's degree in Master of Strategic Communication from Westminster College, a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of Utah, and a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. In October 2019, Derby R. obtained an Advanced Project Management Certificate from Professional Education at the University of Utah.
