Mehdi KIMAKHE

Mehdi KIMAKHE has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. Mehdi currently holds the position of Lead Consultant - Data Engineering at Ensono Digital since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant - Data Engineering at the same company from November 2019 to November 2021.

Before joining Ensono Digital, Mehdi worked at AIEVE as a Data, AI, and Blockchain Architecture specialist from March 2018 to October 2019.

In 2016, they joined First Utility as a Lead Data Architect, where they were responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture of First Utility's Hadoop Cluster. Mehdi also worked as a Data Engineer at First Utility, contributing to various data and data science projects such as predicting wholesale energy market prices and implementing data pipelines. Their tenure at First Utility lasted from June 2016 to September 2018.

Prior to that, Mehdi worked at SoLocal Group as a Big data/BI Data Engineer. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing the technical architecture of Hadoop clusters, integrating data into Hadoop from different sources, optimizing reporting performance, and contributing to various big data projects. Mehdi worked at SoLocal Group from March 2014 to May 2016.

Mehdi's professional journey began with internships at Poste Maroc (Barid Al Maghrib) as an intern engineer in 2013, where they developed a system for tracking service quality indicators, and at HP CDG IT SERVICES MAROC as an intern in 2012. Mehdi also had a brief internship at SONACOS MAROC in 2011.

Overall, Mehdi KIMAKHE has significant experience in data engineering, architecture, and big data projects, working in various companies across different industries.

Mehdi Kimakhe began their education by attending Lycée Moulay Youssef Rabat from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained their Baccalauréat degree in Science Mathématique. Mehdi then pursued their Engineer's degree in Ingénierie Informatique et Réseaux from 2008 to 2013 at Ecole Marocaine des Sciences de L'ingénieur EMSI. After completing their bachelor's degree, Mehdi went on to earn a Master's degree in Informatique spécialité MIAGE from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2013 and 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Mehdi also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, and they attained the Professional Data Engineer certification from Google Cloud Platform Certified. In 2020, Mehdi became AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty certified by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
