Helen Rumsey

Helen is partner in charge of the Ensors Not-for-Profit team and one of the firm’s audit partners. Her portfolio of clients ranges from smaller charities and businesses to larger organisations. These include several independent schools and academies as well as a number of not-for-profit organisations that work within the welfare and arts sectors.

Helen is an acknowledged expert in auditing practice and was the second accountant in Suffolk accredited with the highly regarded ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting. Her exceptional skills are combined with a down-to-earth, supportive approach, ensuring clients benefit from advice and support which is not only reliable, but also easily understood and reassuringly consistent.

Helen regularly shares her specialist knowledge and experience via articles in the local media on a wide range of financial issues affecting the not-for-profit sector. She is also a popular speaker at charity events and seminars, as well as being a former member of the audit committee at Easton and Otley college, a position held for 15 years.
