Hans-Peter Gerhardt

Hans-Peter Gerhardt has been a director since October 2015. Mr. Gerhardt has served continuously in the reinsurance industry since 1981. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Asia Capital Reinsurance Group from October 2015 through June 2017. Mr. Gerhardt was formerly Chief Executive Officer and founding member of Paris Re, a position he held from the company’s formation in 2006 through its sale to PartnerRe Ltd. in June 2010. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of AXA Re from 2003 to 2006, also serving as Chairman of AXA Liabilities Managers, the AXA Group’s run-off operation, during that time.
