Kenneth Väkeväinen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Kenneth started their career as an Electrician at Boomeranger Boats Oy in 2006 and 2007. Kenneth then worked as an Electrician Trainee at Strömfors Electric Oy in 2008. In 2009, they joined Ensto as a Laboratory Assistant, where they conducted electrical, mechanical, and climatic testing of overhead line and underground cable accessories. Kenneth then progressed to the role of Laboratory Engineer, specializing in high voltage testing and research of underground cable accessories. In 2015, Kenneth became a Technical Manager at Ensto, working closely with the product managers to develop and enhance the product portfolio for underground cable accessories. Kenneth later transitioned to the role of Product Manager, responsible for medium and high voltage cable accessories. Currently, Kenneth serves as the Head of Product Management at Ensto.

Kenneth Väkeväinen has a diverse education history. Their academic journey began in 2001 when they enrolled at Lovisa Gymnasium, where they obtained their Matriculation Examination in an undisclosed field of study. In the same year, they also attended Östra Nylands yrkesskola, a vocational school, to pursue a diploma as an Electrician, from which they successfully graduated in 2004.

Building upon their foundational knowledge, Kenneth decided to pursue higher education in the field of Electrical Engineering. From 2006 to 2010, they attended Arcada University of Applied Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical Engineering. This program equipped him with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the discipline.

Driven by their passion to delve deeper into the subject, Kenneth subsequently pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering from Aalto University. Kenneth undertook this program from 2011 to 2015, expanding their expertise in the field.

To enhance their professional qualifications, Kenneth obtained a Certificate of electrical qualification (S1) from Seti Oy in March 2019. This certification adds further credibility to their electrical expertise and demonstrates their commitment to staying updated with industry standards.
