LaShae Woodard is the current Vice President of Financial Crimes at Ent Credit Union. Prior to their current position, LaShae worked as a Communications and Marketing Specialist at Memorial Health System from September 2006 to July 2013. In their role at Memorial Health System, LaShae was responsible for strategic planning, copywriting, program development, video/photo/print production, design oversight, project coordination, PR, supplier vetting and event planning/hosting for groups up to 800.
During their time at Memorial Health System, LaShae helped save a life by developing and marketing the Heart Attack: Her Style event. Eleven days after the event, an attendee recognized their female-specific heart attack symptoms, dialed 911 and was saved. LaShae also helped reduce the incidence of shaken baby syndrome by creating The Crying Baby Plan parent education materials in collaboration with hospital staff. Preliminary statistics showed a 75% reduction in abusive head trauma deaths.
In addition, LaShae produced the Memorial Hospital for Children calendar and coordinated videos and marketing campaign that resulted in free distribution of 155,000 calendars via vendor partnership with King Soopers. The calendar video received 51,000 YouTube views and was featured in Ragan’s HealthCare News Feed (12/13/10). The online ad/media partner’s home page received 1,754,747 views.
