Barry Pickerall, PMP

Barry Pickerall, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Barry is currently employed as a Technical Project Manager at Entara since May 2022. Previously, they worked as a Project Manager at Alutiiq, LLC from October 2017 to May 2022.

Before that, Barry gained valuable experience as a Programmer at SafeRack Loading Rack Technologies from September 2014 to February 2016. In this role, they successfully managed new development and maintenance for the Engineering Department while using Laravel (PHP, jQuery). Barry also served as a project manager for an enterprise resource planning (ERP) integration project, resulting in a significant reduction in paper checks, improved accounts payable reconciliation times, and a 30% cost savings.

Prior to their tenure at SafeRack Loading Rack Technologies, Barry held the position of Principal at 2gi from May 2009 to February 2015. Lastly, they served as a Senior Systems Analyst at Fannie Mae, where they began their career in 1986 and remained until 2009.

Throughout their career, Barry has demonstrated strong project management skills and a commitment to optimizing processes and driving positive results.

Barry Pickerall, PMP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology - Project Management from Capella University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Prior to this, they attended American University from 1996 to 1998, where they studied Management Information Systems, General. In 1984, Barry briefly attended Georgetown University to study Information Technology. Barry also pursued studies in Accounting and Finance at George Mason University from 1981 to 1982 and at North Carolina State University from 1979 to 1981. In addition to their educational background, Barry has obtained several certifications, including Project+ from CompTIA, Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) from Microsoft. Barry also holds certifications in Security+ from CompTIA and Project Management Professions (PMP) from PMI TR.
