Alvin Nicholls

Vice President Global Operations, Micro Contamination at Entegris

Alvin Nicholls has a strong and diverse background in supply chain and operations management. Alvin began their career with GE Energy as a Six Sigma Blackbelt, leading Lean projects and implementing six-sigma practices in the manufacturing engineering group. Alvin then transitioned to GE Water & Process Technologies, where they served as the Global Quality Leader, responsible for improving quality and managing the ISO program. Alvin also held roles as a Plant Manager, overseeing operational efficiency and driving cost reduction strategies.

At GE Oil & Gas, Alvin served as the Global Supply Chain Executive for Africa, managing material spend for the region and leading initiatives on localization and supplier development. Alvin later joined Baker Hughes, a GE company, as the General Manager in Angola, where they successfully executed restructuring activities and improved operating margins.

Most recently, Alvin joined Entegris as the Vice President Global Operations, Micro Contamination, where they are responsible for overseeing global operations.

Throughout their career, Alvin has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on operational excellence.

Alvin Nicholls has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University. Alvin also holds an MBA from the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
