Robert Medsker

Robert Medsker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development within the materials and chemicals industry. Currently serving as Vice President of R&D at Entegris since July 2022, Robert previously held significant roles including Global Director of Slurry R&D at Cabot Microelectronics from July 2019 to July 2022, and Sr Global Director of R&D and Technical Fellow at Avery Dennison from 2011 to July 2022, where responsibilities included product and technology development for pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes. Earlier in his career, Robert was Global Director of Materials Technology at Alcoa CSI from 2007 to 2011, overseeing materials selection and development across multiple countries. Robert began his career as a Sr Scientist at Exxon Chemical and has also worked in a development management capacity at Cabot Microelectronics. Robert holds a PhD in Polymer Science from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Indianapolis.
