Jake Hawkesworth

Jake Hawkesworth has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jake started their career as the Founder of The Night Truck in 2010 and held this position until 2015. In 2013, they worked as a Fellow in the Federal Pathways Program at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at River Valley Investors as an Assistant Manager. During this time, they also worked as a Database Manager at Valley Venture Mentors from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Jake was a Data Science Fellow at Galvanize Inc for a brief period of three months. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Technology at entelligent, starting in April 2019. Prior to this role, they worked as a Data Engineer at entelligent from 2018 to April 2019.

Jake Hawkesworth has a Master of Public Policy degree with a focus in Quantitative Research Methods from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Jake also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Hampshire College, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed the International Baccalaureate Program at Harriton High School from 2004 to 2008.

In terms of additional certifications, Jake has completed several courses on Coursera. In 2018, they obtained the following certifications: Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
