Russell Bennett

Russell Bennett has extensive experience in government and public affairs, currently serving as the Director of Government Affairs at Entergy since June 2012, following roles as Manager of Public Affairs and Governmental Affairs Executive within the same company. Prior to Entergy, Russell held the position of VP of Government Relations at the Mississippi Bankers Association from November 2007 to June 2012 and served as the Director of Environmental & Taxation Affairs at the Mississippi Manufacturers Association from 2005 to 2007. Earlier in the career, Russell worked as a Communications Coordinator at the National Center for Policy Analysis from 2001 to 2005. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Mississippi and participation in Leadership Mississippi's Class of 2014 and the FBI Citizens Academy in 2019.
