Umar Latif, MD, FAPA, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Enterhealth, a leading substance use and mental health treatment center, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas A&M University School of Medicine. In addition, Umar Latif holds positions as Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board and Board Member for The Headstrong Project, a nonprofit organization focused on PTSD treatment for veterans and their families. As a George W. Bush Institute Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program Scholar, Umar Latif contributes to the Texas Medical Board as an Expert Panelist and serves on the Board of Directors for PsychArmor, which supports military personnel and their families. With extensive experience as Medical Director and Owner of The Noesis Clinic and previous roles including National Medical Director for Help for Heroes and Medical Director at Carrollton Springs, Umar Latif brings a wealth of knowledge in adult and geriatric psychiatry. Educational credentials include a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry from UT Southwestern Medical Center and postgraduate medical education from Harvard Medical School.
