Claire serves as the driving force behind the Number 2 program, excelling in the development of new innovative recruitment and retention ideas for the program, and ensuring that the company always possesses an adequate supply of high-quality starting material. Claire played a vital role in establishing the Number2 brand and the implementation of our top-notch donor recruitment systems and processes. With over 10 years of experience in medical/nutritional research programs involving human volunteers, she also possesses expertise in microbiome/nutritional research through her work at the Rowett Institute, having been involved in the completion of over 15 significant studies. Claire possesses a deep understanding of the principles of good clinical practice (GCP), good manufacturing practice (GMP), informed consent, and GDPR regulations. Additionally, she boasts extensive experience as a phlebotomist.

Based on her experience and expertise, Claire was appointed to an ethics panel responsible for reviewing submissions for human volunteer trials. She has served on the panel for 5 years.

By profession, Claire is an Analytical Chemist who initiated her career in land research method development, utilizing a wide range of analytical laboratory equipment. During her leisure time, she finds relaxation in spending time with her family, dog, and horse.
