Fiona Hewitt

Fiona Hewitt is an experienced microbiologist with expertise in operationalising novel bioanalytical testing strategies for new, cutting-edge pharmaceutical products in discovery to clinical-stage development.

Fiona held several operational roles throughout her career in both GMP Manufacturing and QC and, after graduating with an integrated Masters degree from the University of Aberdeen (MSc Microbiology with Industrial Placement), she went on to expand an ambitious pipeline of assets targeting respiratory disease as part of the Research & Development team at Lamellar Biomedical Ltd.

Before joining EnteroBiotix, Fiona was Responsible Scientist/Study Director in contract Sterility assurance and Bacteriology testing at Merck Life Science. Working as part of a fast-paced and high-performing team, she managed QC bioanalytical programmes for a global client base.
