Brian Hunt

Brian Hunt has extensive experience in labor and community service, currently serving as a Board Member for Community Board 1 in Queens since April 2023. As a Business Agent at the Enterprise Association of Steamfitters Local Union 638 since August 2007, Brian has also worked as a Steamfitter specializing in Mechanical Systems. In addition, roles include serving on the Executive Board and as Assistant Coordinator for the Queens Political Action Committee, as well as contributing to the Finance Board and Faculty-Student Disciplinary Committee at The City University of New York from September 2020 to September 2021. Brian represented the union as a Delegate at the 39th UA Convention in 2016 and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Labor Studies at CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies, expected to graduate in May 2024. Brian has completed a Steamfitting Apprenticeship with LU #638.
