Thomas Kerns CFE, CFCI has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Thomas currently holds the position of VP Fraud Investigations at Enterprise Bank & Trust since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Fraud Investigation Manager at the same company from October 2020 to July 2023. Before joining Enterprise Bank & Trust, Thomas worked as AVP-Senior Fraud Investigator for the same organization from December 2017 to October 2020.

Earlier in their career, Thomas held a role as a TJX -Loss Prevention Investigator in the Organized Crime Priority Team at The TJX Companies, Inc. from July 2016 to December 2017. Thomas also gained significant experience during their tenure at the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, where they worked as a Team Leader from January 1996 to July 2016.

Thomas began their career in law enforcement, serving as Commander Detective Bureau at O'Fallon MO Police Department from March 1984 to January 1996.

Thomas Kerns CFE, CFCI attended Lindenwood University from 1980 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education/Business-HR. Prior to attending university, they completed their high school education at St Charles High, although details regarding their degree and field of study are not provided.

Thomas Kerns has also acquired several additional certifications throughout their professional career. In 2018, they obtained the certification of Certified Financial Crimes Investigator (CFCI) from the IAFCI. In 2019, they obtained certifications in Executive Protection from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, as well as certifications in W/Z Interviewing and Interrogation, and W/Z Telephone interviews from Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates. Most recently, in January 2022, they obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
