Despina Johnson has been the Chief Executive at Enterprise Enfield since 2009. Prior to this, she held the same position at FinFuture from January 2005 to August 2009, and was the Strategic Town Centre Manager at Haringey Council from 2003 to 2005. Despina's career includes winning public sector contracts, partnership development, programme management, service development, and property management. She has overseen the delivery of various services such as business advice surgeries, business start-up seminars, and the RSA Inspiring Women Programme. Despina also led initiatives like Enterprising Libraries, Let's Go! Business Hub, and Annual Business Awards. She attended Hornsey High School for Girls from 1972 to 1979.

Enterprise Enfield
Enterprise Enfield is an independent, not for profit enterprise agency approved by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The organisation, established in 1985, offers a comprehensive range of business support services and facilities specifically designed to encourage, guide, inform and inspire people to be successful in business. Services include: business advice; bespoke digital advice and support (E-business Programme); networking events; start up support programmes for women; and low-cost premises. Many of Enterprise Enfield's services are FREE or heavily subsidised by contracts it secures with funders - such as the European Union (European Regional Development Fund), Local London, London Borough of Enfield and The RSA Trust.
