Dr. Aoife Kelly

Dr. Aoife Kelly is a highly experienced professional in commercialization and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Commercialisation Specialist at Enterprise Ireland since May 2023. With a background in research and development, Dr. Kelly previously held the position of Commercialisation Lead at TU Dublin, where efforts focused on spinning out thermophotovoltaic technology for high temperature process industries. As the Founder and Managing Director of ÍON, Dr. Kelly successfully delivered herbal health tonics, achieving consistent sales growth. Previous roles also include serving as a Process Engineer at Intel Corporation, where project management and methodologies were implemented in semiconductor manufacturing, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Oxford. Dr. Kelly holds a DPhil in Materials Science from the University of Oxford, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Nanoscience from Trinity College Dublin.
