Jorge Mercado has extensive work experience in the field of project management in the offshore drilling industry. Jorge started their career in 2006 at Keppel AmFELS, Inc., where they worked as a Project Coordinator and Production Engineer. In this role, they closely collaborated with various departments to ensure efficient construction and successful project completion. Jorge also directed and coordinated production activities for all trade groups and ensured that all necessary information for construction was available to the production team.
In 2014, Jorge joined Semco Maritime as a Project Manager and held this position until 2018. During their tenure, they successfully managed projects, demonstrating their expertise in overseeing project execution.
Most recently, Jorge Mercado joined Enterprise Offshore Drilling as a Project Manager in 2019. Their responsibilities in this role include leading and overseeing projects to ensure their successful execution.
Jorge Mercado obtained an Associate of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at Brownsville, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. In 2014, they also completed a PMP Exam Preparation Course at the Project Management Academy.
