Joseph Zhang

Joseph Zhang is an experienced executive currently serving as Executive Director at Enterprise Singapore since February 2021, overseeing initiatives in People & Culture, Global Workforce, and the Enterprise Academy. Previously, Zhang held multiple leadership roles within Heartland Enterprise, including Executive Director and Director, focusing on Northeast Asia, Oceania, and various sectors such as Leisure, Hospitality, and Education. Zhang has also contributed to the public sector as Director of Industry, Futures & Strategy at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, as well as Deputy Director positions at both the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of National Development. Prior experience includes roles at Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd., and the Accountant-General's Department. Zhang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago and has studied at Waseda University.
