Masaki Katsumata

Masaki "Katchy" Katsumata currently serves as the Japan Country Manager at EDB since February 2024. Prior to this role, Katsumata was the Area Vice President for Japan at Confluent from February 2021 to January 2024. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional Vice President and Japan Country Manager at Actifio, and as Business Unit Executive within the STORAGE division at IBM Japan. Katsumata also held positions as VP and Japan Country Manager at COPAN Systems and District Sales Manager at EMC. Beginning a career at Nissho Electronics USA, Katsumata rose to the position of Director. Education was completed at Hosei University from 1984 to 1987.
