Rebecca Connell

Rebecca Connell has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rebecca started their career as a self-employed piano teacher and held various temporary positions. In 2010, they became a Corporate Events Manager at Direct Wines and later worked as a Project Manager at Ericsson in 2012. From 2013 to 2016, they served as a Training and Development Manager at Provek. In 2016, they joined Turbonomic, an IBM company, where they initially worked as an HR Business Partner and Operations Manager before being promoted to Director of Human Resources for EMEA. Rebecca also acted as an HR business partner for departments in the USA and APAC. Rebecca then joined Tamesis Chamber Choir in 2018 as a singer (soprano). In 2020, they transitioned to EDB as the Director of Human Resources for EMEA, and later became the Director of Human Resources for the Americas and EMEA before being promoted to Senior Director, Global Human Resources in 2022. Additionally, they currently serve as a crisis volunteer at Shout UK.

Rebecca Connell's education history includes completing CIPD Qualifications in 2022, specializing in People Management and Development Strategies for Performance. In 2021, they obtained a degree in Work and Working Lives In A Changing Business Environment from the same institution. Additionally, they achieved an Advanced Level in Music Performance from ABRSM, with a focus on Piano - Grade 8. Rebecca also attained Intermediate Level in Musical Performance in Singing - Grade 6, Oboe - Grade 5, and Viola - Grade 5. Rebecca has engaged in Practical Musicianship as well.
