Ying Xu

Ying Xu has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the technology and software development industry. Recently, they held the position of VP, Product Engineering at EDB starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Mercer from 2017 to 2022, where they served as the Global Development and Delivery lead. In this role, they managed multiple products and projects across health, wealth, and career domains. From 2013 to 2017, Ying Xu worked as a Solution Development Director at EIS Group Ltd, leading the implementation of insurance products for different companies worldwide. Before that, they held the position of Principal Architect at Oracle from 2007 to 2013, working on insurance policy administration and new business and underwriting products. They also have experience as a Senior J2EE Developer/Lead Developer at various companies, including corporation service company, Computer Aid, Inc., SunGard (now part of FIS), and Synchronoss Technologies. Ying Xu's skillset includes architecture, development, testing, and project management.

Ying Xu completed a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Villanova University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, Ying Xu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Thermal Engineering from Tongji University from 1990 to 1994.
