Claudio Di Sanza, PhD has held various positions throughout their career. Claudio began by completing their PhD at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" from November 2005 to January 2009. After this, they worked as a postdoctoral fellow at UMC Utrecht from September 2009 to May 2011, and then again from March 2012 to November 2013. From June 2011 to February 2012, they also worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Fondazione Santa Lucia. Following these roles, they joined IRB Barcelona as a senior postdoctoral fellow from December 2013 to July 2016. Claudio then transitioned to a role as a CRA at IQVIA from December 2016 to January 2019. Subsequently, they worked at Labcorp Drug Development, first as a CRAII from January 2019 to October 2020, then as a clinical scientist sponsor dedicated from November 2020 to February 2023, and finally as an assistant manager clinical research from February 2023 to the present. Most recently, they joined Enthera Pharmaceuticals as a clinical research scientist in July 2023.

Claudio Di Sanza, PhD has a strong educational background in the field of life sciences and clinical research. Claudio obtained their Master's degree in Biology from Sapienza Università di Roma in the years 2000 to 2005. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same institution and successfully completed their PhD in Pasteurian Science (Life Sciences) from 2005 to 2009. Claudio Di Sanza then sought additional training and expertise in the field of clinical research. Claudio enrolled in the CRES (Clinical Research Educational Services) program in Rome, Italy in 2016 and received a certificate after completing a 40-hour course in clinical research. In the same year, they also participated in the ACE (Advanced CRA Experience) program, earning a certification in compliance with the Italian ministerial decree for clinical research. Claudio Di Sanza further strengthened their credentials by obtaining a CRA (Clinical Research Associate) certification from IQVIA Italia in May 2017.
