Michael Stemberger MBA, CPA, CMA, CIA

Michael Stemberger has over two decades of work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Michael started their career in 1995 as a Financial Analyst at Westinghouse Electric Corporation, where they worked on capital projects and acquisitions. In 1998, they became an Application Consultant at System Software Associates, managing the implementation of enterprise resource planning software for clients.

Stemberger then transitioned to start-up companies, serving as Controller/Chief Financial Officer at U Build It Corporation in 1999 and as Chief Financial Officer at R-EZ Global, Inc. during the same year. In these roles, they developed financial strategies, created business plans, and implemented accounting and management systems.

In 2000, Stemberger became the Controller at QL2 Software, where they played a key role in forming strategic partnerships and positioning the company for further funding and an initial public offering.

From 2001 to 2004, they served as VP Finance & Administration and Treasurer at BondHub, Inc., ensuring compliance with SEC and NASD regulations and handling tax filings.

Stemberger then joined Panasonic Avionics Corporation in 2005, initially as a Financial Planning Manager, where they led budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. Later, they took on multiple roles, including Acting Director of Credit and Collections and Internal Auditor, where they redesigned departments and achieved significant improvements in collection ratios, past due amounts, and cash balances.

Most recently, Stemberger worked at Entomo, Inc. as the Vice President Finance from 2012 onwards. Michael was responsible for all accounting and finance matters, including financial statement preparation, tax filings, budgeting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and cash management.

Throughout their career, Stemberger has demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and process optimization. Michael holds an MBA and certifications as a CPA, CMA, and CIA.

Michael Stemberger holds an MBA in Finance from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. Michael also obtained a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University and another B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage. In addition to their educational background, they have obtained multiple certifications including the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) from The Institute of Internal Auditors, the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) from the Institute of Management Accountants, and the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with active licenses in the states of Washington and Alaska.
