José Quiroz

Executive Director, Automation at Entos

José Quiroz is currently the Executive Director, Automation at Entos. Prior to this, they served as the Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb and was responsible for developing software to integrate Excel and R for dose response curve fitting and point flagging. José also converted the tissue culture record keeping system from binders to a fully electronic system that logs every transaction and keeps track of cell inventory.

At Celgene, Quiroz served as the Associate Director of Compound Management. José was responsible for delivering external company presentations about the Kalypsys compound management group and converting the hit-picker 384 well plate based collection to 1536 well. José also won the branding competition for the Kalypsys discovery engine Epik.

Before Celgene, Quiroz worked as a Senior Scientist at Kalypsys, Inc. where they were responsible for identifying the CDK library to calculate structure descriptors and working with the informatics team to develop a property calculator.

José Quiroz completed a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at San Diego State University.
