Xiang Li

Xiang Li has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Xiang currently holds the position of Associate Director, Discovery Research at Entrada Therapeutics, starting in December 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Entrada Therapeutics from August 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining Entrada Therapeutics, Xiang Li worked as an Applied Research Scientist at InfinixBio from November 2017 to July 2019. In this role, they were responsible for downstream development of therapeutic protein drugs or antibodies, including expression, purification, conjugation, and scale-up of the company's products. Xiang also developed analytical methods for quality assurance and control of protein products.

From September 2015 to November 2017, Xiang Li worked as a Research Scientist at Parabon NanoLabs Inc. Here, their research focused on the design, preparation, optimization, and characterization of nucleic acid-based nanostructures for pharmaceutical applications. Xiang led the development and qualification of a synthetic DNA vaccine construct for targeted gene delivery.

Xiang Li's earlier work experience includes a role as a Postdoc Fellow at the University of Michigan from August 2014 to September 2015. During this time, their research involved the application of single-molecule fluorescence microscopy technique for the characterization of DNA/RNA nanostructures and inorganic nanomaterials. Xiang conducted research on the detection, kinetic measurement, and data analysis of DNA/RNA molecules at the single-molecular level using the DNA PAINT method.

Xiang Li's education history includes obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, Xiang Li earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Biology from Tsinghua University between 2005 and 2009. It is also worth noting that Xiang Li is associated with Purdue University as an alumni.
