Alex Fang is the managing partner at Entrada Ventures. Alex has over fifteen years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on semiconductor and software businesses. Prior to joining Entrada, Alex was a senior director at Juniper Networks, where they oversaw the development of PICs (Passive Intermodulation Cancellers). Before that, they were the CEO and co-founder of Aurrion, Inc., a semiconductor company that was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2016.
Prior to their career in the private sector, Alex was a post-doctoral scholar at UC Santa Barbara from 2004 to 2009. Alex holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
Alex Fang completed the Owner/President Management Program (OPM 47) at Harvard Business School Executive Education. Prior to that, they earned their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, followed by an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering also from UC Santa Barbara. Fang began their educational career at San Jose State University, where they earned a BS in Electrical Engineering. Alex is a graduate of Mission San Jose High School.
