Jason Heffernan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jason began their career in the US Navy as a Nuclear Electrician's Mate Third Class from July 1997 to January 2001. Jason then joined Flagstar Bank in 2007 as part of their Corporate Management Program until December 2008. Jason subsequently worked as a BSA/AML Compliance Specialist from December 2008 to September 2011, and later became a BSA/AML Operations Manager, Vice President from September 2011 to January 2015.
In 2015, Jason joined Entrega where they held multiple roles. Jason started as a Business Analyst from January 2015 to January 2016, followed by a position as Service Delivery Manager from January 2016 to May 2017. Jason then served as Vice President, Service Delivery Operations from May 2017 to September 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Operations at Entrega, starting in September 2020.
Jason Heffernan earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from Walsh College, which they attended from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics from Wayne State University, attending from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their academic degrees, they obtained several certifications, including a Certificate in Cybersecurity from (ISC)² in December 2022, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in December 2013, and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from ACAMS in September 2011.
