Tang Heng Yang

Tang Heng Yang is an accomplished professional in the music and entertainment industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Fairphonic since August 2019, specializing in digital rights management for music licensing and royalties payment powered by AI audio fingerprint technology. In addition, Tang serves as a founder in residence at Entrepreneur First and as Managing Partner at MUCE, overseeing a digital music distribution and licensing platform. Previous experience includes project director at Pendulum Productions, where responsibilities encompassed project planning and fund management for live entertainment, as well as music producer and composer in a freelance capacity. Tang holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and was an ASEAN Scholarship Holder at Hwa Chong Institution.
