Patxi Galán

Patxi Galán has held a variety of roles in a number of different companies since 2008. In 2008, they were a Becario at Iberdrola. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Becario, Analista, Community Manager de MUSIDeusto, Ayudante de Máster, and Research Assistant at Tecnolgico Fundación DEUSTO. From 2016 to 2018, they were an Analista de investigación, Responsable departamento innovación sycaton at Grupo Versia, and a Cybersecurity Analist at Instituto Ibermática de Innovación (i3b). From 2020 to 2021, they were an Investigador asociado at IKERLAN and an Analista superior de software and Analista de software at ubikare. Currently, they are a CTO at Entrii and a Profesor at Universidad de Deusto.

Patxi Galán has a long history of education in the field of information technology and telecommunications. Patxi started in 2004, when they completed their Ingeniero Técnico Informática degree from the Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in the field of Gestión. From 2008 to 2010, they completed their Ingeniero Informático degree from the University of Deusto in Seguridad. In 2010 and 2011, they completed their Máster Seguridad de la Información degree from the University of Deusto in Seguridad de la Información. In 2016, they completed an Estancia pre-doctoral from RWTH Aachen University in Machine Translation. Patxi is currently completing their Doctorado from the University of Deusto in ingeniería informática y telecomunicaciones.
