Avi Cohen

Avi Cohen has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Avi is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Entrio, a company they founded in 2021. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2021, Avi was the Co-Founder of The Floor Hub, Israel's first Fintech hub, where they facilitated collaborations between Israeli Fintech companies and major international banks and enterprises. This resulted in numerous commercial deals and investments worth tens of millions of dollars.

Avi's entrepreneurial journey also includes co-founding Mirato, where they served as a Board Director from 2018 to 2020, and being part of the founding team at Nitromia from 2018 to 2020.

Before their ventures in the private sector, Avi worked with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 2013 to 2015 as the Head of Digital Solutions, where they focused on identifying and partnering with Israeli digital start-ups in Fintech, Cyber, and Retail technologies to drive growth in the UK market.

Additionally, Avi's previous experience includes working as an Advisor at the OECD - OCDE in 2012, Director of Digital Projects at the Africa Centre in Ben Gurion University of the Negev from 2009 to 2011, and serving in various roles at the Ministry of Interior and Northwest Indiana Jewish Federation.

Avi began their career in the Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps, where they held the role of Head of Department from 2001 to 2004. Throughout their career, Avi Cohen has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for driving innovation and growth in the technology and finance sectors.

Avi Cohen completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Research Honors Program in Middle Eastern Studies & Communication at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2007 to 2010. Avi then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree (MA) in Development and Global Economic Policy from Sciences Po from 2011 to 2013.
