Melissa Lan

Melissa Lan has extensive work experience in data and research roles. Melissa is currently working at entrio as a Manager, Data and Research since December 2021. Before that, they were a Data Analyst at entrio from November 2020 to November 2021. Prior to joining entrio, Melissa worked as a STM at the Ministry of Ocean Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries, and Shipping from April 2017 to July 2019. Additionally, they have experience as a Student Representative at The University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) from September 2015 to April 2016, where they gathered feedback from students and bridged the communication gap between administration and students. Melissa also worked as a Research Assistant at UNNC from June 2015 to July 2015, where they added functions to an existing software project. Melissa started their career as an Intern at the Development Bank of Mauritius from February 2013 to June 2013.

Melissa Lan completed their education in a chronological order. In 2019-2020, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems Management at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, Melissa obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons degree in Computer Science and Management from The University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Melissa's academic journey began in 2006 and continued until 2012 at Loreto College Curepipe where they completed their Cambridge 'A' Levels with a focus on Physical Sciences. In addition to their formal education, Melissa obtained certification in Google Analytics for Beginners from Google in August 2019.
