Marcellus Nixon

Marcellus Nixon currently serves as the VP of Consulting and Implementation at ENTRUST Solutions Group, where responsibilities include guiding clients through the design, implementation, and operation of best industry practice infrastructure and services, with a focus on achieving end-to-end automation in diverse environments such as Azure, AWS, and GCP. Previously, Marcellus held the position of Vice President of Internet Services at United Cooperative Services, leading efforts to develop fiber-to-the-home and fixed wireless broadband services for approximately 65,000 members. Additional experience includes roles at Amazon Web Services as Head of Global Internet Edge Engineering, Verizon Media Platform as Senior Director of Network Operations and Engineering, and ESPN as Director of Global Network Services. Marcellus has also worked at Level 3 Communications, XO Communications, Aleron Communications, and InternetMCI / Cable and Wireless, progressively enhancing expertise in network engineering and infrastructure development across various sectors. Education credentials include degrees from the University of Virginia and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
