Dave Butcher

Dave Butcher is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at Entrust since April 2023, specializing in creating secure systems and transitioning to post-quantum cryptography. Previously, Dave held the position of Presales Solutions Architect at PQShield, aiding organizations in adopting quantum-safe cryptography. Dave returned to Entrust from 2019 to July 2022 as a Strategic Accounts Sales Engineer, focusing on hardware-based data protection solutions and addressing the quantum computing threat. Prior experience includes roles at Cleo as Director of Product Management, Axway in various capacities related to secure file movement and pre-sales engineering, and project management positions at Ford Motor Company. Dave holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, a graduate certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Arkansas Grantham.
