Bjørn Vestli

Bjørn Vestli has had extensive work experience in various roles. Bjørn started their career in 1995 as an Offiser at the Norwegian Armed Forces, where they were responsible for the operation and establishment of IT infrastructure, including the establishment of a remote operations center for international operations. In 2001, they joined Statistics Norway as a Seniorrådgiver, where they worked as a Systemarkitekt cloud and Plattformutvikler in an agile team, delivering secure, self-service solutions based on development and containerized environments. Bjørn also played a key role in the implementation of infrastructure as code for enabling cloud services. Currently, since 2022, Bjørn is working at Entur AS as a Senior Cloud Engineer.

Bjørn Vestli completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1989 to 1992, they attended Skarnes videregående, a secondary school. Following this, from 1992 to 1995, they enrolled in Hærens tekniske fagskole/Elektronikk, where they studied Informasjonsteknologi (Information Technology).

Apart from their formal education, Bjørn Vestli has also obtained additional certifications. In February 2021, they completed the "Cloud Architecture with Google Cloud Specialization" course from Coursera. In March 2021, they achieved the "Professional Cloud Architect" certification from Google Cloud.
