Anjni Shah FCCA

Anjni Shah FCCA has a diverse work experience in finance roles. Anjni began their career as an Accounts Assistant at DB Schenker from September 2006 to September 2007, where they gained experience in month-end analysis, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation.

Anjni then joined Kaplan International English in June 2008 as an Accounts Assistant before being promoted to Assistant Accountant in March 2010. In these roles, they were responsible for balance sheet analysis, budget preparation, and contract management.

In November 2012, Anjni became the UK Finance Manager at Kaplan International English, where they developed and managed a team of 7 finance professionals and implemented quarterly forecasting. Anjni later transitioned to the role of Financial Planning & Analysis, where they conducted scenario-planning exercises, migrated corporate cards, and provided accurate financial information to stakeholders.

From May 2018 to July 2020, Anjni worked at Entura International as the Finance Manager and later as the Head of Finance. Anjni was responsible for the company's financial health and performance, provided strategic and financial guidance, and oversaw the successful migration to Xero finance software. Anjni also managed the Foreign Exchange strategy and led the initial R&D tax relief process resulting in a successful claim.

Most recently, Anjni joined Corsearch in February 2021 as the Finance Director, where they continue to utilize their financial expertise and leadership skills to contribute to the company's success.

Anjni Shah FCCA completed their education at two institutions. Anjni first attended Kaplan Financial from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Accounting through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Prior to that, from 2004 to 2008, they studied Business Management Accounting at Brunel University London, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. In addition to their degrees, Anjni Shah obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from ACCA in November 2013.
