Eran Elbaz

Eran Elbaz has worked in various roles since 2016. Eran began their career as a Junior Training Officer in the IDF Officer Training School, followed by a role as a Hadoop SysAdmin, where they helped users analyze their Hadoop ETLs and Impala Queries for bottlenecks and managed and governed the cluster. Eran then became the Big Data Geography Analytics Team Leader, leading and designing a complex system that digested geography data from different databases in order to help data analytics with their research. The system was built with Python, Oracle RDBMS, Elastic, Kafka and HBase and ran on a K8s cluster. Elbaz then moved on to become the Big Data Infrastructure Team Leader, leading the Hadoop Administration Team of Israel's Military Intelligence Corps. In 2020, they joined env0 as a Product Marketing and Full Stack Engineer.

Eran Elbaz attended Mamas Course from 2015 to 2016, studying Fullstack Development. Eran then attended The Open University of Israel from 2017 to 2022, earning a B.Sc in Computer Science.
