Christa Weber

Christa Weber is the Head of Circular and Low Carbon Solutions at Envalior since April 2023, focusing on driving sustainability in engineering plastics to support customers' sustainability goals. Previously, as a Sustainability Program Manager at Envalior, Christa contributed to corporate sustainability initiatives, product line sustainability roadmaps, and circular economy topics. Christa spent over twelve years at DSM, where roles included Sustainability Program Manager, leading sustainability efforts in Engineering Materials, and Innovation Platform Lead for Specialties Fibers, overseeing global innovation and marketing strategies. Earlier experience includes product development and R&D roles, and academic research as a PhD student at the University of Sheffield and a scientific co-worker at the University of Bayreuth. Christa holds a Diplom in Chemistry from the University of Bayreuth and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield.
