Glenn Weathers

Electrical Engineer at EnVention

Glenn Weathers has over 50 years of experience in the engineering and software development fields. Glenn began their career in 1965 as a Graduate Assistant and Instructor at Auburn University, where they performed contract research related to RF sensor technology and application to air defense systems. Two years later, they joined Sperry Rand Corporation as a Senior Engineer, working on the NASA Saturn V Rocket Program developing communications and telemetry systems. In 1972, they became an Associate Professor at Alabama A&M University, where they performed research under contract to the US Army on sensor systems and signal processing technology. In 1977, they joined Intergraph Corporation (then known as M&S Computing) as an Executive Manager, managing multiple concurrent projects for both federal and international customers. In 1998, they became Vice President and Chief Technical Officer at Applied Data Trends, Inc., where they performed corporate management functions as well as business development. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Consultant at Glenn Weathers Associates. Finally, from 2012 to present, they have been the Chief Operating Officer at EnVention LLC, where they specialize in command and control applications for planning and executing military missions.

Glenn Weathers attended Snead State Community College from 1961 to 1962, studying Pre-Engineering. Glenn then went on to Auburn University, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1972.
