Shawn Brown has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development and quality control. Shawn started their career in 2011 as a QC Analyst at PCI Synthesis, where they were responsible for release testing of raw materials and final products using various instruments and equipment. Shawn also had a role in authoring and revising SOPs and performing calibration and repair of lab equipment.
In 2012, Shawn joined Epoxy Technology as a Lab Tech, where they conducted release testing of raw materials through final products using a wide range of instruments. Shawn also developed and revised test procedures and handled the setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs of lab instruments and equipment.
Since 2015, Shawn has been working at enVerid Systems, Inc. In their initial role as a Lab Engineer, they contributed to the research and development of gas scrubbing materials, filters, and sensors. Shawn then progressed to become an R&D Engineer and Lab Manager, where they oversaw the research and development process, managed the lab, and ensured smooth operations. Recently, Shawn took on the position of Lead Scientist, leading the research and development of gas scrubbing materials, filters, packaged filtration devices, and sensors. Shawn also took charge of manufacturing and supply chain management for specific products and led quality control and testing processes for product acceptance and performance validation.
Shawn Brown attended Wakefield High School from 2003 to 2007. After graduating high school, from 2007 to 2009, they attended UMass Boston where they studied Chemistry. No degree was mentioned for their education at UMass Boston.
